Inverhuron Mountain Bike Park Opens August 30th

After a hard summer of digging, framing and lots of head-scratching, the Inverhuron Mountain Bike Park is set to open to the public August 30th, 2008.
Inverhuron is located on the shore of Lake Huron, between Port Elgin and Kincardine Ontario.

Ready for the opening are:
The dirt jump park, including small, medium and large hits as well as a step-up, step-down box feature
A single diamond level freeride trail with drops, dirt jumps and freeride features
And last but definitely not least is a double diamond level skinny trail (mostly elevated 2x6s).
The grand opening should be underway by noon and run for the rest of the day. 95.5fm 'the coast' will be there spinning tunes and there will be bar-B-ques running to keep the riders going.
To get to the park from Highway 21, take Bruce Rd 15 heading West from Tiverton, turn right on Albert Rd, then right on Richards Dr (look for the woodland court trailer park). Follow Richards Dr to the very end and you're there.
We hope to see you all out for a great day of ripping!!

Hey all hope to see everyone on the 30th for opening day. its going to be a rad time....dj's r BMX friendly
dam canadians..... why do they get all the good shit, mountains , bc, healthcare, bike parks, darcy. god the usa seems more and more crappy the more i think about it,
glad to hear all the support!! this park has been a long time coming but everyone's hard work will totally pay off when the place gets ripped to shreds on saturday. there also will be food and tunes for all to enjoy

Hey MEDICATEDYOUTH, there is nothing damned about us Canadians, we have all the good stuff because we aren't afraid to pick up a shovel. Perhaps you should try it sometime.
